Park Hae Il is a South Korean actor born in Seoul, South Korea, on January 26, 1977. He began studying English at Namseoul University but eventually left to pursue a career in acting instead. He appeared in a number of stage plays, including a production of “Ode to Youth” in 2000, for which he won the Best New Actor prize at the Baeksang Arts Awards. The following year, he made his big-screen debut in “Waikiki Brothers.” He then went on to appear in the 2003 movie “Jealosy Is My Middle Name,” for which he won a number of Best New Actor awards. He has since gone on to appear in a number of hit movie titles, including “My Mother, the Mermaid” (2004), “The Host” (2006), and “A Muse” (2012). More recently, he has appeared in “Ode to the Goose” (2018), “High Society” (2018), and “The King’s Letters” (2019).
